Adecco are currently recruiting for a HR Recruitment / Payroll & Pensions Officer to work for a Local Authority across Kingston-upon-Thames and Sutton.

HR Recruitment / Payroll & Pensions Officer

Kingston-upon-Thames and Sutton (must be able to travel to both locations)

Full time - 36 hours per week

Temporary role - 3 months minimum

£13.79 - £16.14 per hour PAYE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive People and Organisational Development (OD) Shared Service that focuses on our customers' needs across Kingston Council, Sutton Council and our traded services. We are building a strategically focused OD service, that is responsive to our internal customer needs and enables them to provide the services needed for the communities we work with. About the roles

·  HR Recruitment Associates - Working in our new Resourcing, Talent, Reward and Benefits Team, you'll be responsible for providing a professional, efficient, customer focused HR Resourcing administration service, supporting the priorities of all our customers. This will include managing the administration of the end-to-end recruitment life cycle through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), adhering to policies and procedures to ensure safe and fair recruitment, as well as supporting and advising hiring managers on the best and most cost effective recruitment strategies for their vacant roles. These roles offer a lot of variety with the chance to work on permanent and temporary recruitment for staff at all levels and support with our pay and rewards strategies and job evaluation.

·  HR Payroll and Pensions Associates - Working in our new Customer Connect Team, you'll provide a solutions focused payroll and pensions service to all our customers. You can expect to get involved with a variety of different tasks including; setting up the payroll arrangements for new starters, payroll and contract variations for existing members of staff, restructures, leavers, sickness, pensions administration, redundancies, supporting audits and advising on terms and conditions of employment.

About you

For both roles, we're looking for people who question and challenge our ways of working, demonstrate innovation and creativity, can work successfully with key stakeholders and customers within and outside of the Council through effective communication.

In addition, experience in either recruitment and/or pensions and payroll are a must for both roles. You'll also possess strong accuracy and attention to detail skills and be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to your own personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the roles.
