HOUSING OPTIONS OFFICER- CASE FILES

KINGSTON-UPON-THAMES

MONDAY- FRIDAY 9AM- 5PM

6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT (Possibility to be extended)

£22-24 HOURLY RATE

ASAP START

We are looking for candidates to assist with updating of cases files by working with existing Housing Options staff on their cases.

MAIN DUTIES:

·  Ensure that all customer records are accurate and up to date.

·  Ensure that all data from the records can be extracted efficiently for government returns and internal performance information.

·  Understand the customer path for those who are homeless or potentially homeless.

·  To produce and present reports and presentations as directed by the line manager

·  To attend meetings, panels, case conferences as directed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

·  Experience of working in a busy front line public sector housing team or similar

·  An understanding of the needs of homelessness households

·  Knowledge of social housing register application and allocation process

·  Knowledge of housing and welfare benefits.
