HOUSING ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANT
CROYDON
MONDAY- FRIDAY 9AM- 5PM
3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT (Possibility to be extended)
£13.27 HOURLY RATE
ASAP START
MAIN DUTIES:
· To liaise with and provide prompt efficient support for officers, particularly in ensuring that necessary documentation and information is available to them
· To input and allocate service requests using the Uniform computer system
· To process statutory and informal notices created by officers by making up notice packages
· To carry out telephone answering duties and operate answering machines
· To collect and distribute the post
· To monitor the enforcement section's specialist stationery requirements and process orders for replenishment of stocks
· To input and extract data from computer systems
· To ensure all enforcement notice, orders or charges are registered with Land Charges or Land Registry
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
· Experience of working in an office environment and carrying out clerical and administrative tasks
· Experience of taking and dealing with enquiries from the public and outside organisations
· To have a good working knowledge of various pieces of legislation relating to housing, public health and environmental issues
· Demonstrates a good level of computer skills
