Our lient is looking for a Housekeeper on a permanent basis for 30 hours a week to provide and maintain an excellent level of cleanliness throughout the business. The post involves client interaction and excellent standards of customer service are therefore required.

Duties Include:

·  Cleanliness to the agreed standards using the cleaning schedules provided.

·  Complete cleaning schedules as instructed by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

·  Ensure that cleaning schedules are signed off once completed to prove that each area has been cleaned to the required standard.

·  Provide excellent levels of customer services to patients and visitors and maintain a professional image at all times.

·  Ensure that personal hygiene and appearance including the uniform provided is of a high standard.

·  Ensure the correct use and care of cleaning equipment, avoiding wastage or misuse of property.

·  To ensure that all linen used is freshly laundered and is not stained or damaged; where there is damage this should be reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor

·  To ensure all shelves, skirting boards, picture frames and windowsills are dusted daily in patient rooms and patient areas

·  Report any damaged or faulty equipment to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately.

·  Report any damage to the working area, either building fabric or equipment to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately.

·  Helping in the creation of a good working atmosphere through special emphasis on team spirit and good communications with all work colleagues in other departments

·  At all times maintaining the working environment in a clean and neat manner.

There maybe weekend and Evening work but this would be ona shift rota.
