We are looking for a candidate to work 22.5 hours working full days on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday of each week.

Duties include:

-To assist and prepare accurate monthly management accounts in accordance with the accounting timetables.

-To analyse data behind business performance to facilitate decision making and support the businesses with their data/analytical requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

·  Preparation of accurate monthly KPI'S in accordance with accounting timetable

·  Manage purchase ledger reconciling invoices and payments

·  Manage direct debit payments

·  Reconciling accounts journals to ensure all transactions are correct

·  Producing reports on sales figures

·  Managing the month end process in a timely manner

·  Posting and reconciliation of daily bank statements

·  Maintaining the nominal ledger

·  Processing, reconciliation and submission of monthly VAT return

·  Reconciliation of stock invoices

·  Balance Sheet reconciliations

·  Payroll - accurate recording of driver's hours from timesheets

·  Payroll - tracking driving time in relation to working time directive

·  General administration tasks

·  Stationery/office supplies

·  Uniform Orders

·  Driving Licence Checks

·  Training records

Role requirements

·  We are looking for a candidate who has an accounting qualification ideally AAT part or fully qualified.

·  Experience of working within a similar role

·  Ability to build strong and effective relationships with customers and colleagues

·  Able to show initiative and make decisions

·  Maintain a professional attitude, demonstrating empathy, compassion and commitment when dealing with customers

·  Articulate, organised and customer-focused

·  Good computer skills including Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
