Our thriving engineering client based in Chesterfield are looking for skilled CNC machinists working on a mixture of engineering components

They are ideally after a keen and enthusiastic CNC miller,Programming experience is highly desired however training is provided for the right candidate

Operation and Programming of CNC Milling/turning machines to high standard of quality and productivity.
Adherence to company Health and Safety Policy.
Maintenance of shop floor housekeeping standards.

The company are in a stage of rapid growth and are looking for skilled CNC machinists.

Experience:
Apprentice trained or equivalent on the job experience training
Ability to read and interpret complex product drawings including geometrical tolerances
Ability to carry out a complete set up for new parts
Ability to develop jigs and fixtures to improve quality and productivity
Ability to operate 1 OR 2 machines where safe and practicable or work within a cell operation
Run and modify / edit existing programmes
Program writing on several CNC machines from customer drawings in Fanuc or Mazatrol programming languages
Periodic review / development of existing Fanuc programmes to reduce costs
Tooling development with current and new suppliers

Hours of Work
Rotating days and nights

Working Location & Travel Requirement
Should be located or be prepared to re-locate to within a reasonable commuting distance from Chesterfield

Negotiable salary depending on experience and skill set.
