Due to an existing member of our clients team being promoted our client is looking for a New Management Accountant to join their Manufacturing department. you duties will include:
· You will be assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and reports.
· Preparation of reports to identify/rectify and improve key variances/efficiencies.
· Preparation of weekly Flash reports and conduct formal benefits tracking systems for improvement.
· Ideally the candidate will have lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
· Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports;
· Ensure accurate standard material and labour costs are maintained;
· Prepare reports that identify and analyse key variances;
· Proactively identify and rectify cost efficiency and process improvement opportunities;
· Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitor performance in conjunction with management team;
· Prepare KPI and flash reports;
· Monitor accounting records and internal controls;
· Prepare capital expenditure justifications and perform post implementation reviews;
· Ensure Capital projects are delivered under or on budget;
· Conduct formal benefits tracking system for improvement projects and verify savings;
· Provide ad hoc project support;
· Provide full absence cover for payroll function when required.
Desirable Qulifications
· Part qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant;
· Excellent Microsoft Excel ability;
· Experience of CODA Financials
· Management qualification

Salary - £25,000 to £27,000 per annum
Pension - minimum of 4%
