Role Summary/Purpose
Responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources.
Essential Responsibilities
*Acts as primary customer contact for the duration of each project through commissioning; resolves specification issues; handles correspondence; provides periodic updates; ensures customer satisfaction; negotiates/coordinates with Sales staff as appropriate for customer-requested changes (price and delivery); arranges witness tests; coordinates field service activities with appropriate Service Manager; manages contract and terms
* Manages and reports all financial aspects of the project including budgets, costs, margin, invoicing, and receivable collection; promotes change order growth; provides estimate-at-completion forecasts
* Develops and maintains project schedule, critical control points
* Directs and administers project-related activities to ensure that projects are completed on-time, within internal and external quality/specification requirements; follows GE Quality and QMS procedures;
* Facilitates project closeout reports and Project Review meetings
* Provides leadership and direction to other functions within the project team
* Implements continuous improvement through Six Sigma quality; seeks out and champions Lean processes
* Up to 30% travel required
Qualifications/Requirements
*Bachelor degree (in Engineering, Project Management or Business Administration preferred)

* MBA
* 3+ years proven leadership skills in a matrix organization
* 3+ years demonstrated ability to manage multiple (8-15) projects simultaneously
* 3+ years proven experience in negotiation & relationship management
* 5+ years experience in controls and/or turbine field
* 2+ years experience in project management
* PMP Certification
* Sales and/or customer interface experience
* SAP Enterprise Software experience
* Project management software experience
* Greenbelt certified (Applies to Legacy GE employees only)
* 3+ years’ experience leading nuclear projects
