This is a multi-skilled role incorporating both Front Office and F&B duties in line with the business demands. You will have the ability to multi task while under pressure and have a proactive personality. You must ensure guests are made feel welcome at all times, and that any complaint is either dealt with or referred to the appropriate manager, so that it can be followed up. You will be based in the lobby and ready to assist at any stage of the guests’ stay, from check in to check out and everything in between. The role includes front office duties, as well as working in the F&B outlets including Breakfast, Bar, Dinner and Conferences. You may be required to assist the reservation and administration coordinator when needed.

Main responsibilities

• Provides a friendly and personalised welcome to guests
• Offers an attentive service to guests, adapting to each guest’s specific requirements
• Heeds any remarks made by the guests and ensures follow up
• Promotes the hotel’s F&B offer
• Conveys the image of the hotel and the ibis Styles brand
• Carries out all operation concerning guest arrival and departure in compliance with internal procedures.
• Handles phone calls and reservations.
• Passes on information as necessary to other departments.
• Serves in all F&B areas.
• Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations.
• Respects instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment used.
• Applies the hotel’s security regulations (in case of fire, etc.)
• Respects the hotel’s commitments to the “Environment Charter” (see Planet21)

Reports to the Front Office Manager
