What is the purpose of the position?

As Web Full Stack Developer you will be part of the CIAM development team (within PcE group of the Global Digital Hub in Barcelona) and will be on charge of designing, developing and maintaining a wide and diverse range of Cloud Web Applications using Cloud solutions, mainly based in AZURE, and Javascript Frameworks like ReactJS. You also have experience and skills in front-end coding like HTML/Bootstrap styles. These applications will be key and complementary to the CIAM solutions being developed by Gigya.

The objective is to provide hands on development expertise in sourcing, configuring or building Web Applications for designated applications and use cases as well as participating and following the agreed architecture definition which are properly integrated with the others in the DSU Service and Solution catalogue, across multiple digital channels.

Depending on the business needs your role may include presenting to key internal digital stakeholders, working on project bids, through to working on delivery projects. You'll be expected to participate defining the technical solution requirements, provide viable technical mitigation strategies for technical risks and help shaping the delivery of our solutions. In particular you'll have experience developing Web Applications using MVC and Restful API patterns as applications satellite to CIAM solutions, developing and maintaining needed software as well as meeting high performance, availability and security requirements. You also have experience in structured and semi-structured (NoSQL) Databases as well as front-end Javascript frameworks. You will embed best in class compliance and audit ready features into the solution build/configuration. You will liaise with the CIAM Solution Architect and your Development Team peers for an effective Community of practice

You also have experience in working in SCRUM Agile methodology and participate in all needed SCRUM events (sprint planning, break-down of tasks and estimation for assigned user stories, implementation of tasks, supporting and communicating with QA/Testing, performing demos) and more importantly knowing and practising agreed workflow for agreed "definition of Done"

You have also knowledge and used TDD (Test Driven Development) approach when delivering your software leveraging Continous Integration and Continous Deployment for the solutions you have participated on.

Qualifications :

Key Knowledge may include:


'•Broad knowledge of Microsoft technologies related with Web Application (ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, SQL, NoSQL DBs, etc..)

• Strong knowledge in ASP.NET MVC and providing Applications by the creation and usage of RESTFUL APIs

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and Bootstrap for applying styles
• Strong knowledge of ReactJS or a similar Front-End Javascript framework

• Strong knowledge and experience with Git source code repository (GitHub or Bitbucket)

• Experience having participated in Web Application projects using SCRUM Agile methodology

• Strong knowledge of TDD and having provided unit testing script by leveraging Continuous Integration and Continous Deployment for the solutions he/she has participated on.

Ideal:

• Experience in AZURE Cloud Platform and in particular Azure App Services like WebApps
