We are currently looking for Cognos Report Developer/Analyst who will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of multi-dimensional reports using the Cognos Business Intelligence solution.

What responsibilities will you have?
· Create, enhance and maintain Framework Manager models to support business requirements.
· Work with business users to design and develop Cognos BI reports using Report Studio and data drill-down and slice-and-dice options.
· Create calculations, filters, prompts and conditional formatting in Report Studio Reports.
· Design and develop complicated reports including sub-reports, graphical reports and well-formatted reports according to user requirements.
· Design, implement and administer Cognos securities and BI Portal.
· Train and support Cognos end users.
· Analyse business requirements and prepared functional specifications/technical design documentation.
· Interact with business Analyst and end users to gather business requirement.
· Translate functional design into Technical Solution
· Design and create complex data conversion transformation program
· Conduct quality control on developments by peers (transformation programs)
· Prepares comprehensive technical documentations
· Execute end-to-end unit testing (transformation, load and reconciliation)
· Identify data quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement
· Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
· Work with Functional and Development team to resolve issues
· Execute data load and support data reconciliation
· Participate in integration testing and document conversion results
· Participate in defect analysis and resolution

What skills & experience are we looking for?
·  Ability to integrate an existing team in order to complete assignments successfully
·  Good French communication skills (written and oral)
·  Ability to work under pressure
·  Hands on experience with Cognos BI, including Framework Manager, Report Studio and Analysis Studio.
·  Ability to collaborate on a team with infrastructure, data warehouse and business analyst resources, and clearly communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical team members
·  Knowledge of BI/Data Warehouse concepts
·  Business Analyst background preferred
What academic qualifications do you need?
·  Degree in Computer Science or any related field
·  2 to 8 years of working experience
·  Exposure in one of the following technologies: Cognos, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Object (BO), SAS, Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Essbase, OLAP, Qlikview, SAP BI
·  Expertise in at least one RDBMS is a plus
