WHAT YOU’LL DO  

The Supply Chain Analyst II is responsible for all aspects of regional production and inventory planning of a designated product line, including master data setup for planning parameters, monitoring and adjusting safety stock levels in multiple locations, planning new launches and last time buys, and level-loading production plans. The role requires managing and enhancing supply planning systems and reports that support Division requirements, insuring such reports are scalable for future growth potential.  The Supply Chain Analyst II is a key contributor to the weekly and monthly IBP sales and operations planning process and will drive on-going continuous improvement activities within supply chain operations. The Supply Chain Analyst II plays a key role in the achievement of ADCs high levels of customer satisfaction while supporting cost reduction activities.

  • Support master scheduling and replenishment planning activities for strips, sensors kits, meter kits, and/or accessories, as assigned. 
  • Develop and maintain supply planning reports to generate MPS, replenishment plans, project inventory, measure manufacturing / replenishment adherence, monitor back orders, and various other supply chain planning KPI’s.
  • Communicate KPI’s to management.
  • Supply Chain Planning System subject matter expert for SAP IBP, BI, Veeva and ERP integration projects.
  • Complete requested Spec and Test enhancements to SAP IBP, Interfaces between SAP IBP and Legacy ERP systems, and SAP IBP to BI.
  • Oversee maintenance of various systems to set up master data, logistics network, and planning parameters for new products, sustaining and end of life products for strips, meters, sensors, and accessories.
  • Oversee maintenance of monthly master data and inventory exception messages.
  • Analyze root causes of supply change requests, E&O and back orders.
  • Drive initiatives for on-going continuous improvement activities to reduce number of supply changes, reduce E&O and reduce back orders.
  • Oversee regional planning of designated product line including; ability to set safety levels, planning horizon, last time buy quantity, launch quantity, annual MPS and develop level loaded plan.
  • Ensure inventory is transferred between worldwide manufacturing and distribution locations.
  • Prepare and present supply chain status slides at monthly IBP cycle meeting to upper levels of management.
  • Initiate and lead cross functional project teams that support business initiatives to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Interfaces continuously with ADC global demand, global sourcing, order management, business intelligence, IT, logistics, NPI, engineering, finance and quality teams.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING  

Required  

Bachelors of Science degree, plus 5 years related experience, or Bachelors of Art degree, plus 7 years related experience. 5 years related experience in a supply chain, operations or R&D environment. Experience in one or more of the following areas: order management, order fulfillment, logistics, customer service, master scheduling, inventory planning, inventory control, manufacturing, supplier quality, regulatory affairs or engineering. Requires excellent analytical and communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate with numerous functions, build consensus across functional, business units, and geographic boundaries. Must be skilled user of Microsoft Excel. 

Preferred  

Using ERP/MRP system(s) preferred. Participated in professional development program a plus.  APICS certified a plus. Use of various software application such as MS Word, and PowerPoint a plus.
