JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description Summary

The role has accountability for establishing user requirements, implementation strategy and validation of the MES system with operation, quality and engineering teams.  Work closely with the IT group for MES system configuration. The role will support training of site and provide on-going technical support for system usage, modifications, expansions and improvements.  Work globally with other manufacturing sites to maintain a consistent manufacturing process in MES while following configuration management procedures. Manage project tasks while meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with IT group to support the design, development, and qualification of MES
  • Create and maintain procedural documents, SOP, DWI, etc…
  • Works closely with the Manufacturing leadership team to ensure alignment and established priorities to meet and exceed site and corporate goals.
  • Work with manufacturing and engineering groups to draft business requirements
  • Create and maintain MES reporting tools (Business Objects / Dashboards)
  • Serve as business process owner and collaborate closely with the Quality and Engineering teams
  • Perform MES verification as described in configuration management procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Assist in development of training materials, and provide training to the end users as required.
  • Identify, investigate, understand and provide resolution to issues that may impact day-to-day operations
  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.  Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Experience / Skills

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
  • Good Communication Skills
  • General knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Good organizational skills
