JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer I to join the Electro Physiology (EP) in our St. Paul, MN location. You will be applying theoretical engineering principles while working with specialized level software projects analyzing requirements, updating and maintaining different software, debugging, and development.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Integrate software components into functional software system
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Develop and maintain documentation to identify design, requirements and solutions
  • Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities
  • Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products
  • Collaborate with immediate team and cross-functionally with other program and business leadership teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6+ months of software development experience
  • Demonstrated experience with graphical user interfaces (GUI), formal software development methodologies, and source code management
  • Proficient with Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with C++
  • Experience working with Linux and Python
  • Software development tool experience such as Perforce, Jira, Jenkins
