JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position is responsible for creating and leading the advancement of Operational Excellence principles and practices across the site through internal & external collaborations, delivering high impact sustainable business results.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for maintaining & improving the site's Enterprise Excellence initiatives, including but not limited to the following; 6S Program, Gemba Program, MOR Model, Class A and Shingo methodology.
- Promote and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

- Act as a change agent implementing lean initiatives that are aligned with business strategies.

- Manage departmental and site specific KPI's and reporting, including maintaining site visual boards.

- Responsible for leading problem solving activities across the site, utilizing various improvement tools including applicable training activities.

- Continue to build divisional/site awareness and engagement of Operational Excellence principles and methodologies through effective communication, education & training.

- Primary continuous improvement champion on site through the deployment of lean six sigma and other CI tools & techniques.

- Deploy lean six sigma, change management tools and methodologies to ensure project success e.g. Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC etc.

- Maintain general site visual boards to provide clear and transparent linkage of performance, continuous improvement activity and the Site Strategy Map.

- Track and report project status efficiently to all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree Manufacturing/Engineering /Science or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing/engineering/science environment. Automation factory experience to include complex manufacturing preferred. Execution of continuous improvement initiatives desired.
