Status: Full Time/Permanent, Shift: Night C Shift, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights and every other Saturday night 6:30pm to 6:30am

Responsibilities:

Act as first line of defense to identify complex process/production problems and assist Engineering in resolving them to sustain production.

Collaborate and coordinate with Operations teams to maximize quality, efficiency and throughput.

Follow engineering instructions as they apply to production and non-production operations.

Ensure all processes remain in compliance with applicable documented procedures.

Provide timely response to manufacturing holds, initial bracketing, assist Engineering with investigation and disposition to ensure containment and continuous throughput.

May assist with yield improvement or production sustaining Engineering studies.

Conduct defined in-process control monitoring tasks and respond to vision system rejects in compliance with documented procedures.

Elevate quality and productivity observations/problems to help minimize defects, scrap and maximize throughput.

Record accurate, timely, and legible data in accordance with documented procedures, abiding by GMP standards and practices.

Demonstrate compliant gowning and clean room techniques and maintain a tidy, organized and clean workspace.

Communicate ideas and suggestions for continuous improvements to next level leaders.

Understand and comply with applicable EH&S policies, procedures and guidelines and applicable manufacturing procedures.

Other miscellaneous duties as may be required.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Technical College Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a regulated environment is an asset.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize own daily work to meet established schedule.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications.
  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships, display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Ability to work independently and in groups
  • Knowledge of Quality requirements within a regulated cGMP environment
