Tasks:
You shall be working in the Research and Development department, which is responsible for the software applications relevant to Renewable and Microgrid automation product families within the Distributed Generation and Microgrid team.
You will work in a small team of talented engineers in an open and informal environment. Together you will bring the architecture from idea to implementation, interacting with a global organization.
You will be our SW solution expert and together with product management you shall craft solutions for our market opportunities.
We are looking to work on the software applications development, and building our next generation software applications which work onsite and in cloud based architecture. Microsoft Azure Knowledge is a plus.
As R&D Solution Architect Software Applications, you will be responsible for the product development process (driving it from project proposal to release), for reviewing requirements, own the development of a feature or a small feature set, and create automated tests, work on continuous integration and work as a part of a scrum team.
Moreover you will be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure, for System and Product Requirement definition, project functional specifications, project planning; for the complete R&D project life cycle, from design to release, including product documentation and release material.
You apply principles and methodologies like waterfall and Agile, Software and Product Security considerations, Scalability, Documentation Practices, and Testing Techniques.

Requirements:

As R&D Solution Architect Software Applications, you have a Master degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent skill level with at least ten years of professional software engineering experience, including lead and architect level. Moreover a minimum of three years of experience with PAAS Cloud/Azure projects.
Valid Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification is a plus.
You will have an experience with:
virtualized infrastructure and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) such as: vSphere, OpenStack, Amazon Web Services, or similar – is an advantage
cyber security, distributed systems and web architectures - is an advantage
databases (Postgres, SQL, NoSQL,..etc)
development with C#/.Net (a minimum of six years)
product design and development according to agile and develops principles.
You have strong knowledge in Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Software Design Patterns; solid presentation skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken; high awareness for quality, process and tool in related area. Valid Microsoft C#/.Net certifications will be a plus.
For this role you are self-motivated, independent, organized and structured way of working; able to work in a multidisciplinary project team and to manage external suppliers and developers in remote centers.
