Internship Testing & Laboratory Assistant

We are looking for a Testing & Laboratory intern who will join Electrification Product Division that provides low-voltage circuit breakers, switches, control products, wiring accessories, enclosures and cable systems to protect people, installations and electronic equipment from electrical overload. You will work in the Testing Laboratory for Protection and Connection Business Unit placed in Bergamo.

Tasks:

In this role you will perform mechanical and electrical tests on low voltage electrical devices based on Standards and/or internal testing methodologies.
Your main activities will be:
• prepare the test set-up,
• keeping and selecting the right testing and measurement equipment,
• manage the device under test.

Requirements:

You hold a High School Diploma or Professional Qualification in an Electrical field and a basic knowledge of electrical elements. Also, you need to have excellent manual skills to connect and assembly electrical or mechanical devices and basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical measuring instruments are required. Communication and team-working abilities, precision and high motivation to learn are important skills we look for in a person.
