Internship (m/f/d) Testbed implementation for the future power grid

Job description

Looking for a taste of working life in an international, future-focused corporate group? Then join us as an intern (m/f) and familiarise yourself with a suitable department for 3 to 6 months. You will be involved in large-scale projects and perform a defined set of duties independently. Use your internship to build a network and become familiar with our company.

Tasks:

• Development of the concept for a test bed to test new functionality for future power grid
• Installation and engineering of needed SW-packages like SCADA, Optimization, Simulation, etc.
• Prototypic development of interfaces between different systems

Requirements:

• Studying electrical engineering, computer science, or related
• Specialization in communication engineering, power engineering, control engineering,
• Domain knowledge in power systems / power grids
• IT/Programming skills: at least C# or Java
• Basic Knowledge at least in one of the following tools: Matlab, Modelica, PowerFactory, NEPLAN

Please note that internships are generally limited to six months, while voluntary internships during a bachelor course are for a maximum of three months.
