Internship (f/m) Evaluation of Medium Voltage (MV) Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) for Grid integration of Renewable energy sources

Tasks:

* Evaluation of Modular Multilevel Converter topologies
* Modelling and converter control for MV grid services
* Evaluation of DC breaker and protection concepts for MV
* Performance evaluation of converter (MMC) system

Requirements:

* Studying Master's degree in electrical engineering
* Specialization in Power electronics, Power system or a related field
* Programming skills in MATLAB, PLECS, PSCAD or a related tool
* Basic knowledge in power electronics converter and converter control

Additional information

Please note that internships are generally limited to six months, while voluntary internships during a bachelor course are for a maximum of three months.

With the approval of your university, you can complete your bachelor or master's degree by spending three or six months with us as you work on a practically focused thesis. You define the subject matter with us, with the support of the right contacts in various departments.
