Job Summary (External)

Offers hands-on experience in the exciting world of hotel operations and hospitality, necessary to prepare for and develop a career path within Marriott International's portfolio of brands.

University or Hotel School undergraduates specializing and studying in hospitality related fields will be preferred for certain internship positions, and for more specialist disciplines, for example those students pursuing business or similar related courses, consideration is also given for those related internship opportunities.

Supporting the team in their daily operational work, as well as the development and planning of the department.

The intern will support the Wellness Center of the St. Regis in a guest relations position. In particular he / she will assist in welcoming guests of the SPA, support the promotion of the SPA within the hotel complex and coordinate between the associates of the SPA and the hotel. The internship will take place under the supervision of the Front Office Manager of the hotel.

SKILLS WHICH WILL BE ACQUIRED
Coordination within a department, strengthening the knowledge of foreign languages, acquire the skills to work independently, competence to work in a multinational company, awareness of the brand standards of a international upscale hotel chain, soft skills (empathy towards the guests, problem solving), understanding of roles and business functions.
