As part of the Project Core Team, the Project Supply Chain Manager is the main point of contact in the Project for all matters that concerns the materials on that project, from Industrialization, to Sourcing, to Manufacturing, Logistics, etc.

Mission & Responsibilities:  

The PrSCM industrialize the project ensuring that the products (Alstom generic products, project specific products, installation materials) - including notably documentation and certificates- are delivered to the project stakeholders(Installation, Engineering, Customer, ...) according to project QCD commitments.

·  Ensure the proper set-up of Project Industrialization process, and manage the corresponding deliverables in QCD. Leading Unit PrSCM/PrIDM coordinates with Participating Units PrSCM  or PrIDM.
·  On top of Industrialization Process contribute to the maximization of usage of standardised product inside the project material delivery scope.
·  Optimize the logistic flow strategy to reduce end to end material LT and cost (from Supplier to Customer)
·  Be proactive on BoM availability and associated obsolescence management plan (under Project responsibility)
·  Drive the demand to Industrial Operations and delivery in QCD the Industrial Work package , in liaison with other Industrial Operation teams who lead the execution of following tasks: supervision of material procurement, manufacturing & testing, Logistics & shipment
·  Guarantee that the level of stock on his/her project fits to the industrial strategy of the Regional Center/Operations, especially through consistent industrial planning update according to project context shipment.
·  Supervise cash flow curve related to material orders and minimize the time the material remains in the warehouse. Support project closure to clean and close the Hard Inventory.
·  Drive the demand to industrial Operation for his projects and put in place all the actions to reach project milestones:
·  Activate needs in ERP tool
·  Release Purchase request for “BUY product” and work order for “MAKE product”
·  Interface with manufacturing team to set MPS  at least monthly and to attend weekly meeting for the MFG follow-up status.
·  Interface with Procurement / Sourcing to schedule Purchase Order
·  Interface with Logistics to schedule shipping.

The PrSCM should have an Engineering Background, plus is Industrial Engineering, with at least 3 years experience in other Industrial/Supply Chain/Manufacturing Companys.

PrSCM shoud have a very good knowledge of English and ERP like SAP.

Plus is experience in Project Management and Contract Management, Industrial/Material Planning
